Delivery

The General Store orders are processed Monday - Friday.  We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours. 

Our deliveries are tracked and traceable.  After each purchase you will receive a confirmation email with a link to your tracking number. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only.  The General Store cannot be held responsible for any delay caused by the chosen courier service.

New Zealand
Please allow the following estimated timeframes for delivery:

  • Residential delivery: 1 - 3 business days
  • Rural delivery: 2 - 5 business days

In Store Pick Up:

  • You can collect your purchase in store during our shop hours, 7 days a week. Please let us know in your order notes when you estimate collecting your purchase.
  • Please bring a copy of your purchase confirmation email.

Orders over $100 will be charged a $5 courier free in NZ. Orders under $100 as well as rural orders will incur a $10 courier fee.  

International

  • International shipping is $25. If the shipping exceeds $25 due to its size and/or weight we will contact you with actual costing.
  • With international shipping delivery, times can vary, and we are unable to give a specific timeframe. We will endeavour to process and dispatch orders promptly when received. Please note you are responsible for any duties which may be payable to your order.
  • Please include a phone number, as it is a requirement of a tracked courier service.

Please note we cannot deliver to a NZ or International PO Box address.

Returns and Exchanges

In Store Purchases

  • If you are unhappy with your in-store purchase, we are happy to exchange any item or offer store credit. The exchange value must be of the same value or higher. No refund is given for change of mind.
  • If your item is faulty, we are happy to offer a full refund if we cannot first replace the item. Please contact us within 7 days of purchase if this is the case.
  • We require items to be returned within 10 days of purchase. Items must be returned in brand new condition with original tags attached, and receipt of payment enclosed. Footwear must be returned in its original box.

Online Purchases

  • If you are unhappy with your online purchase, a full refund is available.  We are also happy to exchange any item. The exchange value must be of the same value or higher.  Please be in contact within 2 days of receiving your purchase to organise your refund or exchange.
  • If your item is faulty, we are happy to offer a full refund if we cannot first replace the item. Please contact us within 2 days of purchase if this is the case.
  • We require items to be returned within 10 days of purchase. Items must be returned in brand new condition with original tags attached, and receipt of payment enclosed. Footwear must be returned in its original box.
  • Return shipping is at your expense and must be sent with tracking. The General Store is not liable for any packages which we have not sent ourselves.

Sale Purchases

  • All Sale purchases are regarded as final, and no exchange or refund can be given.
